The MOLLE II Assault Pack is the official “RFI issue” that the US Army distributes to deploying units. It is designed to provide the soldier with a medium-sized container for shorter-duration patrols. It can be worn alone or attached to the MOLLE Rucksack. It is approved for airborne operations

What is RFI? The Army’s Rapid Fielding Initiative (RFI) is a program that ensures our soldiers receive the finest individual and unit equipment the Army can provide.

Military surplus items may have been stored for extended periods of time in government warehouses but it is not a negative impact to their quality.

These are genuine U.S. military surplus assault packs have been inspected individually. They are in very good condition with no holes, no rips and all zippers, snaps and buckles are 100% functional. The black “US” stamp in front of some of the packs might be slightly faded. Some strap elastic bands might be overstretched. Some packs may have some fading or slight staining.

The assault pack is great for nearly all outdoor activities. It can withstand the harshest of terrain and weather conditions. It’s a perfect choice for the hunter, hiker, camper, climber, or survivalist/prepper. Its toughness, simplicity, and utility cannot be overstated and is a great addition to any outdoor gear.

Molle II Assault Pack Features: 

• Made of tough 1000 Denier Cordura.
• Large main compartment.
• Zippered front cargo pocket with small pocket inside.
• Small utility pocket with Velcro closure.
• Large flat pocket in back to stow away shoulder straps. Also useful for keeping flat items such as maps, magazines and papers.
• Fully adjustable sternum strap. Can be adjusted up and down.
• Buckled waist belt that allows for heavy loads to be carried with ease without sacrificing comfort.
• Four lateral compression straps to compress and stabilize interior contents..
• Quick ditch shoulder straps with quick release snap buckles.
• Two slots for radio antenna or hydration drink tube.
• MOLLE II front and side webbing for additional gear attachment.
• Removable hard plastic stiffener and black padding for back support.
• Jumpable – approved for airborne operations. Parachute white ties are inside the pack.
